Campus Safety Conducting Building Access Test

For a few minutes starting at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Sept. 1, all campus buildings will be locked down as part of a test of the C-cure access control system. The test is required as a final step in the three-year program to install the new building access system across campus. First part of the test is to ensure that all exterior doors can be locked by pushing a single button in the Campus Safety dispatch center. The second part will test that only Campus Safety access cards can open doors during a lock down. These are essential components of an emergency preparedness effort. If you happen to be outside your building during the test, a Campus Safety representative will be on hand to let you in the building, as your Pioneer Card will not work during the test. For questions, call Campus Safety at 303-871-2334.
